Tamil actor-comedian Yogi Babu is all set to make his Telugu debut with an upcoming film titled Gurram Paapi Reddy. Directed by Murali Manohar Reddy, the film features veteran Telugu comedian Brahmanandam in the lead role, marking a union between two comedy powerhouses from two southern Indian industries.

The news was announced with pictures of Yogi and Brahmanandam greeting each other. According to a press release, the two actors bonded well during the shoot of the film, after which Brahmanandam personally invited Yogi to his residence and spent some quality time sharing laughter and stories.

Notably, Brahmanandam also gifted Yogi a copy of his popular book ‘Naan Brahmanandam.’ In a statement to the press, Yogi expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Brahmanandam, saying, “I am truly elated and overwhelmed by the warm reception I have received from the Telugu industry. Being welcomed so graciously by a legendary figure like Brahmanandam sir is a moment I will cherish forever. His gesture of gifting me his book was deeply touching.”

Other details regarding Gurram Paapi Reddy, including the plot, cast and crew, are yet to be announced.
